Taking The Week Off To Think

I apologize, for this isn't a "picture perfect" post but rather a "real life" post. I don't know what it was about this weekend, but it wasn't that great. Yes, I caught up on sleep, but for some reason I just couldn't get into a really good mood - besides Saturday night when I had a delicious meal at home & watched Pitch Perfect with my momma!
On Sunday I just felt completely unmotivated to do anything. I even went to Target after a group meeting but walked around feeling like a zombie.
I have a big decision to make tomorrow, lots of studying and two tests this week. Why could I not get anything done yesterday!? Why could I not focus my mind on reading my novels for school instead of personal things worrying me? Everything in my life that I seem to think is going wrong somehow flooded my brain all at once and just drained me.

I try so hard to trust in the Lord's plan for me. I try so hard to "go with the flow" and "follow my heart" and all that. Sometimes it's hard though. My body feels physically exhausted, yet I have so much to do for school. YET, when I go to work on things I feel like I have severe A.D.D. and no creativity. I know what I should be doing, but it's as if my mind would rather be anywhere else. I think I'm just in a rut. {midterm week :: what a wonderful time for a rut} All I can say is thank the LORD that as of 6:15 on Thursday I am on SPRING BREAK! Even though I am staying put (for most of it) at home, I hope I can take that time to recuperate my body and mind. Especially as I prepare for my half marathon on St. Patrick's Day. All that being said, I am going to take a blogging break this week so I can focus the little attention I do have on my studying. Happy Second Sunday of Lent!

I've been staring at this ever since I came across it on Pinterest. It rings true in so many ways for me..."what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." I actually have chills. Fingers crossed I'm back to regular posting this week! Hopefully during the Oscars I can catch up on scheduling some posts. I think that is going to be my trick!
Who is your pick for Best Picture this year?? The only movie I actually saw was Silver Linings Playbook - and loved it - but I know Argo has been winning a lot in the other award shows! We'll see!

Happy Sunday!Tomorrow I'll update y'all on my weekend - a lot of fun! - but today I am going to link up for Sunday Social again! I thought these music questions were fun!

1. What is your all-time favorite song?This is SO tough! I have so many favorite songs for different reasons, i.e. meaning, the tune, memory that goes with it, etc. One of my favorites is Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews Band. 2. Who is your favorite singer/band?Right now my favorites are Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Mumford & Sons.(I love allll sorts of music...favorites are country & alternative!) 3. What is your theme song/song that best describes your life?Again, I can think of so many, but right now my theme song is Here For a Good Time by George Strait! 4. What songs put you in a good mood?Any country music, any 90's music! 5. What is your favorite roadtrip music?Any country music, Shania Twain's #1 hits, whatever the current "pop" songs are that I can jam/sing along to and Baby Got Back. 6. What song are you embarrassed to admit you love?I would have saved Baby Got Back for this question, but let's be honest...I am not embarrassed that I know every word to that. However, I'm embarrassed to admit that every time Give Your Heart a Break by Demi Lovato comes on Pandora, I jam outttttttt. Don't judge.
