Who are you?

By now I think we've all seen the "tag" game floating around, and let me just say...I love it! I love seeing the questions that people come up with and especially the blogger's answers! It's such a fun way to get to know each other more.

The lovely Emmalee at Everyday Emmalee tagged me in her post today. She is new to blogging - but you'd never know it! She is a pro already. Y'all go give her some blog love!
I know I've already done one of these posts, but this is mostly for new followers who may want to know a little bit about me!

The Rules

1. You must post the rules.
2. Post eleven fun facts about yourself on the blog post.
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you've tagged.
4. Tag eleven people and link them on your post
5. Let them know you've tagged them!

I know the rules say to post eleven facts, but since I already did this once, I'm going to post six! These are a bit more odd than my first ones :)

1. I can't swallow pills with water. I have to put them in a spoonful of applesauce...even itty bitty Ibuprofens!
2. I think there is only one day on record that I went into Target and didn't buy anything.
3. I sleep with socks on.
4. I like to walk up/down stairs starting & ending with my left foot. If it's an even number of stairs, I start with my right and end with my left. Must end with my left. (Once I tripped because I was trying to switch my feet at the last second)
5. I subscribe to People, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Runner's World magazines.
6. On my bed is 4 pillows, a body pillow, a penguin pillow pet and 4 stuffed animals: Stitch (my must-have...he came from Disney last year), a brown bear with a Lehigh shirt on, a penguin from Build-a-Bear and an otter holding a baby otter. I don't like to be lonely!

Okay, so now that you all think I'm five years old...

Here are Emmalee's questions!

1. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher! I used to play "school" with my little brother. What do you know - it came full circle and that's what I'm studying :)

2. What's been your favorite vacation and why?
I'm going to combine my three trips to Florida into one and say that! I've been to West Palm Beach, Tampa and the Orlando area. It's my favorite because Florida is warm & sunny...my perfect kind of weather! I was also able to do fun things at each place that are some of my favorite memories!
A close second would be to Charleston when my brother was living there :)

3. If you had a time machine what time period of time would you travel back to and why?
The 50's! One word: Grease.

4. Are you a beach or mountain person?
This is a tough one! I was born and lived for a while at the beach, I now live in the mountains. I think the mountains say "home" to me, but if given the choice I'd rather be laying on the beach!

5. What are your three favorite books?
It's hard to pick just three! Pretty much any of Nicholas Sparks' books. I love his writing.

6. If you had a million dollars how would you spend it?
I would make all of my Pinterest crafts, I would buy a house to decorate with those crafts, I would adopt a puppy, I would put some into savings & then I would donate the rest to a charity!

7.  Mac or PC?
Mac for life!

8. What's something quirky you do?
When possible, I like to match my undergarments. I also always (unless wearing tennis shoes) have fun, printed socks on. You don't see any plain jane browns/whites in my sock bin! Right now I have on red socks with orange/pink polka dots.

9. What was your favorite toy as a child?
Barbie! I also had a pink, blue and white dollhouse that was played with nonstop.

10. If you could vacation anywhere right now where would you go and who would you take with you?
I would go to Austin, Texas with my family & Steven (it's where he is originally from)!

11. What's your favorite tradition you do with your family and why?
Going to watch fireworks on the 4th of July because it's one of my favorite holidays! I also like our tradition of back to school/school's out ice cream because...well, I love ice cream!

If you haven't been tagged and want to participate in this, feel free to answer these questions as well :)
I'd love to learn more about my followers!

Tagged!

Not going to lie, I have been loving this "tag" game floating around the blog world! I love reading all the facts about everyone and seeing what questions people come up with. Emma who writes one of my new favorite blogs, Emma Lately, tagged me, so here we go!

4. Tag eleven people and link them on your post
5. Let them know you've tagged them!

My 11 Fun Facts!

What's In My Bag Vlog & Getting to know me!

Double whammy today! I finally had the chance to do the What's in my Bag vlog! It took me three tries because my computer decided to go to sleep, but I think it finally worked. Not very exciting, but I still thought it was fun!

Jackie Sue is hosting the link up so you can go to her blog to see some others! Plus, just check out her super cute blog :)

And yes, like everyone else, my video and sound don't match up. Why is this happening!?

Hopefully one day I won't be so awkward! Ha...

Then, as I was blog hopping, I saw that Emily did a set of questions she found from Summer Wind and I thought I would go along with that trend too! Basically, you will know maybe too much about me after this long post. But here we go!

If...

...I could like anywhere in the U.S....I would probably choose somewhere further South where it's not so dang cold all the time! I like to stay warm. I do love Virginia, though, don't get me wrong.

...I were to have more children...well, seeing as I don't have any children, this is a little out of context. But when that time comes, I would like to have at least three children!

...I could have any talent in the world...I would want to be a good dancer! Dancer as in ballet, not booty shakin' style.

...you met me in real life...you would probably see the same girl you see on here! I don't really buffer much, although I'm probably more goofy/silly in real life than I am on here.

...I went back to school...it would mean that it's 2013 and I've survived undergrad! I plan to go to grad school right away to get my teaching license.  So far, I plan to go to Radford University, but plans may change, who knows...

...money were not an object...I would fill my wardrobe, have a spoiled puppy and go on lots and lots of trips!

...I could meet one celebrity...I would want to meet Sandra Bullock or Heidi Klum.  They both seem like nice, down-to-earth people! Not to mention they're both hilarious.

...I could only shop at one store for the rest of my life...I would choose either Macy's or Nordstrom! Depending where I live, since we don't have a Nordstrom around here.

...I could choose an animal/pet...I would choose a penguin or an otter. Otters are the cutest things in this world.

...I could go on a trip right now...I would go to Savannah, Georgia.

...I had to choose between a house cleaner and a personal chef...I would choose the personal chef.  For one, I sometimes like cleaning...plus I wouldn't want someone putting my stuff in places because they I wouldn't be able to find anything! I like to cook but I don't have very much time these days to cook, so having a chef would be ideal!

There we are! Hope you enjoyed learning what's in my bag and a few random facts!
I hope y'all answer them as well so I can learn more about you!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

MIA - going crazy!

I am soooo sorry for being M.I.A. the past couple of days. Actually, I'm mainly apologizing to myself because I have been going crazy thinking about everything I wanna tell yall! I just keep getting caught without my computer or without my camera or ... at more baseball games and getting home late :)

First of all, I had an AWESOME weekend & I'm gonna post some pictures later! Forgot my camera at my momma's house this evening, so I'll postpone that tidbit for tomorrow!

Today I spent SIX HOURS (literally) playing the Just Dance and Just Dance 2 games on the Wii. Do any of you have this game?! We own them and I just love them! If you are familiar with Zumba (or any sort of Jazzercise or workout routines to dance music) you will love this game! Why did I do it for six hours you may wonder? The school my Mom works at was having their Field Day & they had this game as one of the stations inside the gym. Sidenote: I used to love Field Day! Who didn't, though?
Anyway, if you have a Wii & don't already have these games I recommend them! They also have a Country Dance (not made by the same company) which I am going to try out tomorrow :)
It was SO much fun! The kids absolutely loved it - and I got in an awesome workout! We had K-5 doing songs, so almost all ages can do them! Some of the easier songs that kindergarten liked were Who Let The Dogs Out and Surfin' Bird. But they caught on to some of the harder ones too!

I workout tremendously more/better when I have some good jams. Some of the songs the Just Dance games have are: Tik Tok, Hot n Cold, U Can't Touch This, Eye of the Tiger, Womanizer, Jump, Move Your Feet, It's Rainin' Men, I Feel Good (I Got You), Cotton Eye Joe, That's Not My Name - and so many more.

Definitely check it out for a good workout & fun with friends!
