Here's what I'm loving :)

I'm loving being off of work this week. I love my little kiddos but I am enjoying having a break! I'll start back up when they start school next Wednesday!

No - I'm not at the beach, but I wish I was :)

I'm loving that our Jazzercise Flash Mob last Saturday at our town's annual street festival, Steppin' Out, was a success! I'm in the back-ish in the black!

I'm loving that Vera Bradley put their Bookbag on sale for $75 - normally $92....quite possibly another school "tote" option for me!

I'm loving that today I'll get to go to the Cascades with SB and some old friends. It's good to catch up every once in a while with people that we used to be so close with in high school, but now never see! Plus SB has never been to Cascades...I need to change that :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Link ups are so much fun. I might not do them all the time, but right now I have a few extra minutes to share what I'm loving on this Wednesday!

I'm loving that I only have two more days of work left! I love my job so much, but we've been going non-stop since school started back up in January after winter break. I need a little break from the kiddies! We start back up the 17th.

I'm loving Shark Week! Call me crazy (again), but I am fascinated by some of these shows. Is it weird that I like the ones that talk about people getting attacked? I don't like them because they make me happy or anything, but I love to hear their stories and how they made it out alive! I gotta take some notes - just in case! Ha!


I'm loving my new pair of Rainbows. I finally caved in and bought a new pair because my old ones were looking sad. They haven't fallen apart, but definitely way past 'worn in'!

I'm loving that I got a raise at work! Okay, okay, okay so it's only 10 cents...but it's 10 cents more an hour than I was previously making! It'll start to add up, I'm sure.

I'm loving that J.P. won The Bachelorette! I actually already knew he would win because I always seem to be browsing and run across some person who leaves the spoiler in a comment! I try to erase it from my memory, but I can't :( I loved J.P. though! I'm all about those buzz cuts. Felt badly for Ben, but I think he was silly for interrupting her before she could tell him he wasn't the one. Womp womp.

Lastly, I'm loving that SB is home for the rest of the summer :) Of course we are disappointed they didn't make it to playoffs, but since we don't go to the same school - I have really been missing him this summer while he's been living in Martinsville! Distance stinks.

Ten on Tuesday

Alright, I'm starting to link up now. Earlier I was borrowing questions from another post but I am now starting...

This week's theme is 10 Items on Your Wishlist

1. Travel outside the U.S. I hopefully know this is going to happen one day...I would love to go to Ireland or Portugal!

2. Fatten my Vera Bradley collection. I do have several pieces, but I want to have a cute collection to pass down one day :)

3. Own a big, beautiful beach house that I can return to every summer! I absolutely love being at the beach.

4. Get a Maltipoo :) They are just too cute for words and such lil cuddly bugs.

5. 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee...yes, please.

6. I would love to get a watch! I am turning into one of those "I'm naked without my cell phone" type of people...it's bad. I'm think gold & silver would be good because I am always mixing up my earrings, while I usually always wear a silver necklace and a silver ring.

7. Run a Marathon. Call me crazy, but I wanna be able to say that I did it! I got the half down...now I just need to get the other half done.

8. Go scuba diving! Seriously, don't know what could be better...and preferably somewhere tropical :)

9. Wear a wedding dress with pockets. Dresses with pockets are my favorite! Is that weird? I just love them. It's sometimes the deciding factor if I'm buying a dress.

10. Lastly, I'm going with Food, Love and Life on this one...I would love to have a Longchamp Le Pliage tote but that's quite a chunk of change. They are so cute though, and you can use them anywhere/anytime. One day I'll find $100 on the ground and splurge on one! Or ask really nicely for my birthday? Haha

We just got back from the lake - it was so much fun! I'm wiped though, so I'm off watch some Shark Week :) Have y'all been watching? There have been some good ones on recently - kinda scary, but so interesting!! It's on Discovery all week!

School Tote Choices...decisions, decisions!

Yall...I need some help. I'm pretty indecisive and usually when I try to make a decision I either freak out/wait too long and forget about it or pressure myself into making it too quickly.

Recently I've been trying to decide what to carry this semester when I go back to campus. For the past two years I've primarily used my North Face Jester backpack that I've had since high school. Talk about quality - that thing will never die. I will probably use it every now and then but I want to start carrying a tote more often. Besides the water bottle holder that is so convenient with the backpack, it's something annoying to have to take it on & off all the time if I forget my I.D. inside or something!

I have used my mini VV tote sooo much it's falling apart! I literally use it every day. Even the mini tote has room for all of my daily necessities. This tote would be perfect to carry my laptop/agenda! I would just have to decide between school or American spirit...hmmm :)

L.L. Bean Boat & Tote Bag, Open Top

I have an L.L.Bean zip-top tote that's navy blue/light blue striped and I love it! I've had it for several years and it's still in good condition. If I got one for school I might get the open top so it's easier to get stuff in & out! I would also get pink, not the blue in this picture. :) I think the medium size would be perfect, with over-the-shoulder handles! And of course...monogrammed :)

Vera Bradley East West Tote in Happy Snails

This tote is a new Fall design and pattern. It's basically the tote but flipped horizontally! I love that because it's easier to slide in a laptop or notebooks. I am pretty dedicated to my Vera, so this one is a front runner! Plus it's not too expensive and Vera also lasts forever! (as long as you take good care of it) ;)

Victoria's Secret PINK Weekender Tote

VS also has some cute totes, believe it or not! This one is nice because it's big and bright and has a zip top in case you want to zip it up! You could also use this one as a gym bag or just as it's called - a weekender for a quick getaway!


Do yall have any other cute tote ideas? I would lovvvvvve to hear some suggestions! I was also thinking something from Thirty-one but I need to find a consultant first!

It's my last week of work and (hopefully) the week that Steven comes home!! My big brother, who recently returned to the US, is also coming home on Wednesday for two weeks of leave!! Woohoo! Then we have Steppin' Out this weekend...it's going to be a busy week. I will keep updating :)
