It's Ok!

Time to link up with Neely for It's Ok Thursday!

It's OK...

...to blog in class. I already know all of this stuff, anyway!

...to be SOOOOO excited for the game tonight! Last home game + Darius Rucker + Enter Sandman + Senior Night...it's gonna be great.

...to have no idea how I'm going to make it to the end of the game! Early release (5 hours at work) + game (everything said above) = tired Sarah.

...to really just want to wear my pajamas to the game. As long as I have in my bow, I'm good!

...to be obsessed with bows in hair.

...to plan to spend the first part of Thanksgiving Break sleeping, crafting and baking. This seems to be the general consensus in the blog world!

...to wish you could have all of your blog friends as IRL friends!

...to have your printer run out of ink after printing 2/10 pages of your paper...NOT!!

...to know you could spend just as much money in Michael's as you could in any clothing store.

...to go to McDonald's for breakfast. Sometimes all you need is Cinnamelts & a mango pineapple smoothie.

...to make a Christmas list for your dog that is longer than your own.

I love this link up!

TTOD: Today, I am thankful for my mommy! Even though I'm a big, 'ol college student, she is still willing to help me proofread and edit papers. She is always willing to bring me things I forget.  She is always willing to make me dinner when I pop up unexpectedly at home. She is always willing to listen to my problems with anything. She is always willing to do anything for me at the drop of a hat. Moms are the best! I LOVE HER!

CLASS IS OUT EARLY! Happy Break! :)

Oh, How Pinteresting...

I'm switching it up this week! I am loving so much, but I haven't shared too many Pinterest things recently. Plus, trying to finish up my homework before tomorrow, so I don't have tooo much time :)

SIDENOTE: Guess who is singing the National Anthem at tomorrow's VT vs UNC game...

To say that I'm excited is an understatement......this + Enter Sandman. I will probably be having a heart attack before the game even starts!

Okay, back to business! Linking up with The Vintage Apple :)

Theme: Romantic Movies I Love

Hopefully y'all could get all of those without captions ;)

I know these aren't very "pinterest-esque" but I did get them all from there! I'm just in the mood to plop on the couch and watch movies, so that's what was on my mind! :)

Hope y'all are having a great week so far!
Only ONE MORE CLASS until break! I am such a good student to even get up and go to it (esp on gameday)...extra credit?

TTOD: Today, I am thankful for the bus system.  I would have a lot of stress lines from having to fight with parking if it weren't for the BT. We have a not-so-great parking situation on campus!  I save so much money on gas, I don't have to buy a parking pass, and the bus gets me right to campus! The drivers are all so nice, too! I'm so thankful!

Top 5 Tuesday: Nail Polish :)

Today I'm linking up with Rachel again for Top 5 Tuesday because I love this week's theme...nail polish! I have my nails painted 99% of the time and my toes are always painted. I can't stand bare toenails. Ew.

If you can't tell, I'm partial to OPI...

1. OPI My Address is "Hollywood"
You can't go wrong with pink. I would definitely love to rock this color all summer long.

2. OPI Flashbulb Fuschia
This is a little different than I'm used to wearing, but I like that it's a "colder season color" of pink.

3. OPI Over The Taupe
This is a really nice neutral tone. OPI has lots of really nice browns!

4. OPI Kiss On The Chic
Again, I like the neutrality of this color - with a hint of pink! This would be a good color to keep on for a while because it's subtle.

5. OPI I Eat Mainely Lobster
This is basically my ultimate favorite. I love the coral/pink/peach colors. They are my favorite!

These are sort of random, but I love lots of different colors. I usually stick to pinks/corals/reds though...no matter what time of year. My favorite way to have my nails is french, but I can't do that on my own (too shaky) so when I get my nails done I like to get french!

What are your Top 5?? :)

TTOD: Today, I am thankful for having things to look forward to! I think it would be a huge bummer to never have anything to look forward to.  I know that's what keeps me going in school; knowing that I have fun stuff waiting ahead! I will share those with you in countdown form:
Countdown to THURSDAY NIGHT GAME & break: 2 days :)
Countdown to Thanksgiving: 9 days :)
Countdown to 21st: 20 days :)
Countdown to Christmas: 40 days :)
Countdown to Steven's 21st: 45 days :)

the good things in life and TTOD

Happy Monday!  I have SO MUCH to do this week. It's going to fly by, I know, but I hope it doesn't go too quickly because then I won't have time to get everything done.  My goal is to have everything (8-10 pg research paper, stat homework) done by Thursday at noon.  I know those two things don't sound like a lot, but I'm only on page 2ish of the research paper.  It's on banned children's books.  Wish me luck!

I'm trying to distract myself by thinking about...
the good things in life:
  • freshly washed, silky hair
  • puppy love
  • waking up before your alarm actually feeling refreshed
  • long phone calls with someone you miss
  • shy grins
  • friendship bracelets
  • short sleeves in november - today. is. beautiful.
  • sidewalk chalk
  • blog friends
  • polar bear coca-cola cans
  • snail mail
  • thursday night games - main reason I want to get done by thurs at noon
  • new socks
  • awesome moms

Just gonna think those happy thoughts and chug along!  And also be reassured that as of noon on Thursday (when I have everything done) I will officially be on Thanksgiving Break!! This is my TTOD...a break from school. I am so thankful to have a whole week off of school.  I will spend the first half at home, still working because the kiddies only get three days off, and spending time with momma.  I will then go with Steven's family to PA for the second half.  I'm pretty excited, to say the least.

Definitely in the Top 3 of my favorite times of the year.

I hope everyone has started off to a good week!

Sunday Verse & TTOD

{via pinterest}

*TTOD: Today, I am thankful for the gift of a quality education.  When I'm feeling stressed out or overloaded, I just stop and think how lucky I am to be attending one of the best universities in the country.  And how lucky I am to have professors who take that extra step to see that their students succeed.  I know there are millions of children in the world who won't ever see a college campus, let alone attend one, and that makes me sad.  However, I hope that my college education will lead me to obtain a license to teach where hopefully I can do my part to change that for some children.

ALSO, if you haven't entered Lindsey Leigh's, at Keep It Classy, Alabama, giveaway - go check it out now! She's giving away a Swell Caroline Moon and Lola acrylic monogrammed necklace! There are so many colors to choose from and you get to choose the style of monogram! These are adorableeee.

Happy Sunday :)
