Pinterest Bucket List

Well, I'm off to see Dad in Richmond!

On my birthday

Hope everyone is off to a great start to the weekend! It's the last shopping weekend before Christmas weekend!! :)

I made a "Bucket List" board on Pinterest! I started seeing a trend of photos that had text across them that say something that would follow "Before I die, I want to..." There are lots of things on my real bucket list that I probably won't find on Pinterest, but I thought it would be a fun board to create.

Here are some of things I pinned:

What's on your bucket list?

Check out my board for the rest of my bucket list items! :) I also made an "un-bucket list"...a.k.a. things I do not want to do! Here is the perfect example of that board:

I am afraid of heights and I get goosebumps thinking of doing that! I'll pass...

Happy Saturday :)

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch!

One of my favorite holiday story/movie/song/etc is How The Grinch Stole Christmas! We decided to put on a Grinch play at school with the program I work with. It was so much fun. The kids worked so hard to memorize their lines, dress as "Who-ish" as possible and put on a great play - which they did!

My adorable Kindergarten Whos - the little girl is Cindy Lou!
Some 1st grade Whos!
A Who totem pole!
The performance!
Mr. Grinch in his cave!
Afterwards with my Whos :)

It was so much fun! Now I'm even more in the mood to go watch the movies :) (even though I've already seen them this season...doesn't matter!)

Today was the last day of school for the public school, but we are open next Mon-Wed. I'm looking forward to some fun holiday snacks, crafts, movies & a pajama day - my suggestion :)

Almost finished with my Christmas shopping! Then it's time for my favorite part...wrapping!

Tomorrow I'm headed to Richmond to see my Dad and little brother, too! Can't wait!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday! Happy last day of finals! Happy eleven days until Christmas!

Linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving being done with my exams (as of 5:30 today) and officially on Winter Break! Ready to do some of this:

I'm loving all the cute Etsy shops I was introduced to by recent giveaways! I'll definitely be doing some Etsy shopping...

I'm loving that I rediscovered my Hoku CD. Did anyone else listen to Hoku? If not, this is awkward. Back elementary/middle school in my Britney Spears phase, I was obsessed!

I'm loving that on Friday morning the kids are performing their How The Grinch Stole Christmas play! They've worked really hard and had to memorize all their lines! I will be sure and share pictures of us all decked out in Christmas gear!

I'm [still] loving the wonderful weekend I had! I went to Northern VA/MD to go to the Army Navy game with Steven & his parents! NAVY won! :)

FedEx Field

I only got out from under our blanket to take this picture! It was very cold!

I'm loving these pins...

I'm loving my Hokies

I'm loving the smells of Christmas! Ahhh there is nothing better...baking, cinnamon, warm fires, and evergreen! We are going to get our tree today, too! The house will smell lovely.

I'm loving my Pandora bracelet from Steven & my watch from my mom! They were both birthday gifts & I've worn them every day since I received them!

What are you loving today?

eShakti Review

A couple of weeks ago, a representative from eShakti contacted me about doing a product review for them.  I of course said yes! This is the top I chose:

It's a grey, button down, 3/4 sleeve tunic that is longer in the front than in the back

Communicating with the rep from eShakti was super easy and I received the package in no time! Here are some of the benefits I have found of eShakti:
  • They offer all of their styles in all sizes 0-26W
  • They do custom sizing! If you can't find things tight/loose enough, long/short enough...there are no worries with eShakti!
  • The customer service is fantastic!
  • Everything delivers between 7-8 business days, including if you do custom sizing!
  • The have lots of cute styles and pieces to choose from including dresses, cardigans, scarves, blouses, knit tops, coats, skirts...all of which aren't going to be "that top from J.Crew that everyone on campus has."

Really, can you go wrong with cute clothes that offer custom fitting? I don't think so. The only word of caution I will say is - go with your gut instinct on what size to get. Usually on larger/flowy tops I get a smaller size because I don't want it to be draping on me. In the picture you can't tell, but in person the top looks a little too big on me. It would look nice with a big belt, I just didn't happen to have one that matched. I ordered a small (size 4) but probably should have done the x-small (size 2)...the eShakti website advises you not to order your size based on how you think the garment will fit, so I didn't...oh well!

I ended up pairing the top with a sleeveless sweater since it was a little chilly...

Sweater is from Old Navy, Leggings are from Target, Boots are from Target

Here is the detail. The buttons have a floral design to them...

Overall I am very happy with eShakti and plan to order from them again!
You can, and should, too! If you order before December 31 (hint - Christmas gifts!) use this promo code for $20 off your order! SLRYAN0811

Thank you eShakti for the opportunity to do the product review!
