- I was going to do It's Ok Thursday...but I really don't feel like I can think of enough things. I am ex-haus-ted.
- Sometimes, you just need to vent. Am I right? It doesn't mean you're an angry person, in fact I think it's healthy to vent. It doesn't do anyone any good to bottle things up. That leads me to tomorrow's post...I'm going to do a post of things that have been driving me crazy this week on campus (and in general the past three years)! I'm inviting y'all to join with me & share your own thoughts! You don't have to be a current student - you can share what used to drive you crazy :) I'll set up a linky so everyone can share! By the way - this is somewhat open-ended...you can talk about classes, students, transportation, your roommate...basically anything that is caused by being in session!
- An example: I get frustrated when my professors are late. If it's written in the syllabus that students are expected to show up on time/be ready for class, should that not apply to the professor as well? Praying this doesn't become a habit...
- American Idol was back on last night. I really love that show! I started watching maybe around the 3rd season and have loved it ever since. My mom, younger brother & I used to watch it religiously and I would get so nervous for the finale. If someone spoiled it for me I would get seriously mad! Did anyone else watch? I liked the guy who played the guitar (towards the end)... :)
- In exactly three weeks I'm going to be making my first trip to see Steven in PA! I'm so excited...mostly because I got him tickets to the Flyers game on Saturday, but also because I'm hoping I can somehow make it to King of Prussia :)
- That same weekend there are two movies coming out - Star Wars & The Vow. I'll bet you can guess which one I want to see and which one Steven wants to see...however, the boy did go to see Beauty & the Beast with me so I have a feeling we'll be seeing some Jedis! (But seriously...The Vow looks so good...definitely bringing some Kleenex...)
- My mom made peanut butter blossoms when I was home, and I'm going to be very sad when they're all gone. They're my favorite.
- I love that there is someone from my high school in each of my classes (except the one with 500 people...it's a lot of people to scan & I've only gone to it once!)
- I'm really loving these two quotes from Pinterest:
That's all for day :) Gotta go get geared up for another afternoon at work!
xoxo,
I'm happy AI started again too! Are you talking about Phillip Phillips? LOVED HIM!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd if you happen to go see Star Wars, let me know how bearable it is. I think it comes out right before Valentines Day and I'm sure my loverboy would rather see that than the Vow too! haha
Peanut Butter Blossoms are the best!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found your blog! I love it! :) I absolutely love American Idol. It seems like last night they had a lot of good potentials! Looking forward to following your blog!
