My Week/Advice Needed!

Oh, shooooooot. I am really trying to blog in the mornings, but this morning I went to the airport to pick up a friend - got stuck in blasting traffic - and then I ran errands and went to work. AKA - no time to blog. I apologize for the randomness of this post!

*If you only pay attention to part of this post, make it the end! Need advice :)

Here's what's on my mind...

I love being crafty. I made this for Jessi @ Take Heart.

The spacing is off...and it bothers me...Oh well!

I also love having crafty friends! She made me these: :)

 &
You can't see it very well, but there are hooks on the bottom for my keys!
 How precious are those!?

I love having a boyfriend who knows my guilty pleasures! This is what he brought me on Saturday:

For those wondering - it's the 30th Anniversary. SO GOOD.

Tonight, The Bachelor is on. So is the National Championship. Which do you think Steven & I will have on? :)

I'm just loving Pinterest, as is everyone. It's almost to the point where I would consider giving up pinning for Lent. Is that possible? This is one of my recent quote pins that I am particularly loving:

Lastly...

 Advice, please!
I feel like I'm one of the only bloggers not starting classes today. Not going to lie...I'm okay with it. We start next Tuesday, the 17th! At that point I will share with you what classes I'm taking...
Anyway...I can't decide where to get my textbooks from...our campus bookstore (what I normally do), Amazon, Chegg, Campusbookrentals.com....?? Any other suggestions? What do y'all use?
Thanks!
xoxo,

  1. I love those crafts y'all made each other -- they are beautiful!

Appalachian doesn't start back until next Tuesday (and I start student teaching then) so you aren't alone! I have gotten books from both Chegg and Amazon.. I really prefer a mix. I always look for the lowest prices for each book, which mean some come from Amazon and some from Chegg...generally the lowest prices are on Amazon because you can get them used from individual owners! Let me know if you need any more help!

  2. I love using Amazon.com for my books - they have decent prices and ship quickly. :)

    Good luck with your courses!

  3. I don't start until next Tuesday also. I usually get mine from half.com

    They're always cheaper!

  4. Amazon is my savior!! I used Chegg once as well, which was nice and super easy to return. However, never have I paid for a cheaper book than when I used Amazon!

  5. Ole Miss doesn't start until the 23rd, so you aren't alone! I use Amazon and the off-campus bookstore, just because most of my books for my degree have to be special ordered... so none of the books are cheap, sadly. Check out Amazon, but beware of "media mail"-- it's the post office's cheapest way to ship and it'll take 2 weeks for you to get the book, so avoid that at all cost!

  7. Personally, I usually save at least $100 by buying my books at Amazon, compared to my campus bookstore.
Cheesecake Factory is my favorite place on earth. I wanna get married and have babies there if they'll let me.
Oh, and roll tide! I'm definitely watching the BCS championship!

  8. I love that craft you made! Gorgeous! I've used Amazon, and I've even sold them back to my campus book store and made extra $$ back!

  9. I usually go to the campus bookstore, but I found out they charge like 5% more for profit. I just ordered my books from Chegg this semester and saved like 400 bucks! I ordered them last night and they should be here tomorrow, so I think that is pretty fast shipping!

  10. I mostly use Amazon because I have an Amazon Prime account. I get a little bit of a discount and free 2 day shipping. It saves me about $30 for each book. I only go to the campus bookstore when I have to get a particular bundle for a class. You're lucky that you have another week of freedom! :)

  11. I used to get my textbooks from half.com I can't remember having problems with them and I could sell them back to the bookstore for more than I ended up paying. I would do that :)

I just noticed my button on your page. You're so sweet :)
Fyi- I can't grab yours. Email me and I'll tell you how to fix it!
